There are two major locations for rafting in Jamaica, Rio Grande and Martha Brae, and with their long traditions of delivering quality experiences, they have earned their ‘top spot’ status for kareemsquest.com.
However, there are many other places that have been gaining good traction, under the radar, and this is one of them. It’s a 25 – 30 minutes, at most, tour, which is a little shorter than the average, but a lovely experience nonetheless. The captain, who is a resident of the area, told kareemsquest.com several folk stories about the river and also showed us a marker of a rock, that symbolised the height it can rise to.
Located at Tapioca Getaway in St. Mary, the property has been steadily improving its offerings with rafting and a kiddies play area.
It is perched on a hill, which overlooks the Wag Water river, this is an ideal location for a family fun day. Especially with the other amenities like paddle boats and a bar area.
It can only be accessed through a reservation and is a great choice for big groups that want to spend the day liming and having fun.
