Getting straight to it with the rooms

The all-inclusive hotel has over 300 rooms, each equally impressive,  and breathtakingly beautiful. Kareemsquest.com stayed in a luxury ocean view suite, which can comfortably fit a large family, as the rooms are spacious and airy that comes with modern day luxuries. 

The Presidential suite has a bedroom and a living room with a ½ bathroom, along with a mini pool. Rooms come standard with cable television, Jacuzzi tubs and walk-in showers. According to the General Manager, Royalton has “brought to Jamaica something refreshing and something of newness in the Caribbean, especially in the English Speaking Caribbean. [Before it] was the Mahogany four post bed, the dark colours in the room that were very much driven by English influences, Royalton has brought that freshness and that clean look that many people are going for today.”

What to eat

Everyone loves hotel food and for very good reasons. Royalton White Sands has four main restaurants and kareemsquest highly recommends trying the steak.  

Gourmet Marche, a buffet-style restaurant with themed nights caters to a diverse appetite. Hunters Steakhouse, another dining option, got high praises, and the 7oz ribeye was the favoured meal. For those who love pizza and pasta the Italian restaurant Grazie Trattoria is for you. And finally, Zen Teppanyaki and Sushi Bar, which has a dinner and a show element, where your dinner is prepared in your presence, with the chef twirling and tossing his utensils. 

Something for the Family 

Royalton White Sands, is a family-oriented hotel, with activities for each member to enjoy, whether together as a unit or individually. It has a water park that features four slides with a resident lifeguard and other lifeguards on duty to make the slide safe and fun for all. 

Kids, 2 -12 years have their own splash pool and smaller water slides that they can enjoy. And if they get tired with the water activities they can utilise the Kids Club, equipped with touch screen computers, Xboxes, PlayStations and E-play. The coordinators, of the area, are always on hand to supervise the children while ensuring they have the most fun possible. Kareemsquest.com also found an Arts and Craft area for the creative child. The teens’ Hang Out spot needs a little work, but it’s perfect for a group of teens to just unwind from all the outdoor fun.

Don’t leave out the adults

Adults also have their own play areas at the hotel’s Room Spa. This is where adults can get: massages, facials, pedicures and manicures, or make use of the sauna and steam room. In addition, there is a cold plunge pool and thermal beds, that ensures persons are completely relaxed and come out feeling refreshed.

You will sleep much better after having a deep tissue massage by one of the masseuses. They are well trained in servicing each guest that enters the spa. The manager of the spa shared with kareemsquest.com what the best part of working at Royalton was, “it’s about giving great service to each guest so that when they leave they are renewed and refreshed.”
