She came highly recommended to kareemsquest.com and once we got a chance to meet her it was obvious why.

Cinthia Miller, who is affectionately called, Miss Cynthia, has a very charming and jovial personality and jokingly said to us, “I know you guys are driving from far, don’t worry, the food soon ready.”

Adorned by a natural layout that’s several meters from the beach, her dining area is surrounded by a large vegetation on one end and a picturesque seaside in front. With this type of ambiance, it’s easy to be lost in the moment and relax her for hours.

On the day of our visit, in the bar area, was a rastaman chatting with an European family, who were intrigued with his way of life and thoughts. He kotched on a stool with one foot hanging off, hands on the counter and had on a mesh red, green and gold mariner, as he delivered his message. “I and I believe you must treat the earth good, if you want good things to come back to you,” he proclaimed to his audience.

While on the beach, was a family who came on a coaster bus. As part of their daily activities, the young men were pitted against the senior men to a race, while being cheered on by their female family members. After four attempts, kareemsquest.com noticed that the outcome was always the same, as one of the young men constantly defeated their rivals. Nonetheless it was evident they were having a great time, especially when one of the guys, who had a big stomach, fell.

Within the span of 20 minutes our meals were ready, with Miss Cynthia coming out and personally serving them. She placed a colorful plate on kareemsquest.com table, which consisted of fried fish, cooked callaloo and carrot, fried breadfruit and festival. It was the perfect blend of everything.

Immediately our appetites opened up and with a big smile on her face Miss Cynthia said “unuh going to love my cooking, enjoy guys!”

It’s no surprise why Miss Cynthia is on kareemsquest.com’s list of must visit places in Portland.
