Video Review of Puerto Seco

The general manager gave kareemsquest.com an idea of the trajectory that the beach attraction has taken, and apparently will continue to take based on feedback from visitors.

“We’ve developed over a period of two years. From the inception of the property, it took us some time to do the add-ons, as in the beach bar, the perfection of the jerk shack and so forth, because we really did start with the Santa Maria restaurant first.”

The establishment currently offers a number of features ranging from restaurant and bar services, spas, pools and cabanas, to a comprehensive diving programme, sailing, water trikes and glass-bottom boat trips, to name a few. However, the biggest addition thus far is the dolphin adventures, courtesy of Dolphin Cove.

“The chairman [Kenny Benjamin, chairman of Guardsman Group] wanted more attractions here on the property, he wanted it to be a one-stop shop for everybody when coming here.”

In the collaboration with Dolphin Cove, kareemsquest.com was told, Puerto Seco “wanted to make sure that it was an educational experience”. With the Discovery Bay fishing sanctuary and the lovely sea life surrounding it, the developers of Puerto Seco saw an opportunity to enhance the knowledge and appeal of their existing product.
