An essential part of planning a holiday in Jamaica is to experience some of the great all-inclusive resorts on the island. The time spent with our friends and family is key to creating fond memories to reminisce as we get older. Go somewhere that not only captures the moment, but plays an integral role in how these moments are created. Need suggestions? As your trusty advisor, kareemsquest.com is here to help. Plus, we have a full video episode below, of the hotel.

The history of Jewel Paradise Cove

Before we get into what Jewel Paradise Cove has to offer, let us appreciate the background of the property itself. Over forty years ago, this twelve and a half acres of land located in Silver Spray, Runaway Bay, St. Ann, was once home to a little bed and breakfast property. This small cottage was frequented by Europeans needing an escape to paradise. Based on research by kareemsquest.com, the land has passed through several owners over the years and has now transformed to its current state, consisting of 225 rooms. The expansion of the Jewel Resorts empire led to the purchase of the land by Sagicor Life Jamaica and the creation of Jewel Paradise Cove which opened on October 14th, 2013.

What is it all about

They cater specifically to anyone eighteen and older. This resort is perfect for groups, couples or persons looking to relax, rejuvenate and stay healthy during their vacation.

Jewel Paradise Cove has a lot of activities aimed at stimulating fun, health and wellness. The facility is equipped with a Fit Trail that meanders the exterior of the property with ten workout stations. Kareemsquest.com ventured to its Radiant Spa, which consists of up to twelve massage parlours, a twenty-four hour gym, a spinning room, saunas, steam rooms and hair and nails Salon.

One could experience their Jewel Signature Massage at sunset, while listening to the sound of the waves and nature; or the Vichy Experience, which is a new technique using different pressures of water to massage the body. The Spa also caters to guests from the general public.

This ocean-front resort is perfect to get in touch with your marine side. “We have a wide range of water activities both motorised and non-motorised that are included in our package”. This would include scuba diving for certified divers and lessons for beginners, sunset cruise, snorkeling trips, glass bottom boat rides, as well as paddle boarding just to name a few. There is also a giant double-looped water slide that adjoins to the main pool, which adds some child-like fun to the adults-only resort.

The food and amenities

“Jewel Paradise Cove has seven different dining experiences, from Japanese cuisine to contemporary Caribbean fine dining.”

“Our resort also boasts free Wi-Fi service throughout the entire property and the guest rooms,” the general manager stated to kareemsquest.com. The ability to stay connected and still get away is perfect in this day and age.  The private resort is also very tight on security, which allows one to feel a sense of protection while enjoying his or her vacation.

“We may be smaller than many Resorts in Jamaica, but we are truly unique, providing so much more than most all-inclusive Resorts by way of service, facilities and amenities. We are looking forward to more awards in the coming years. Our Associates (Staff Members) are very passionate about what they do and are the friendliest group of people I have ever experienced.”

Decor, Layout and Attractions

They say first impressions last the longest and the first word which came to mind was ‘relaxation.’ Greeted by an intimate and well-ventilated lobby, checking in felt equivalent to going home after a long day of work. The high ceilings and earth-tone decor complemented the warm smiles from a very receptive staff. The trip from the lobby to the guest rooms displayed the tranquil scenery of scattered hammocks, swinging beds and gazebos filled with plush furniture.

The rooms have a classic decor with a white, deep amber, and dark wood colour scheme. A large flat screen TV, well stacked mini bar, air condition, and did kareemsquest.com mention the view? The view is the most attractive element of the room. Being an ocean-front resort this is a sure advantage, which wow’s its guests daily.

The resort’s entertainment team invites its guests to several activities throughout the course of the week. “Sometimes we have a goat race, its unusual but it’s fun, ” said the entertainment manager. The Court Jester’s Chillin’ piano bar, which also features karaoke (twice weekly) and Bling! Nightclub are great outlets for persons to unwind.
